Set in the idyllic Sussex countryside, Arlington and Ardingly reservoirs provide a beautiful backdrop for those who love to get out and about.

An abundance of birdlife is waiting to be discovered at both reservoirs, which have well-marked nature trails.

Arlington is a high-quality venue for fishing, with classes for those seeking to master the mysteries of fly-fishing.

Water lovers should head to Ardingly Activity Centre, where expert teachers run courses on sailing, windsurfing and canoeing.

Directions: Situated approximately 1/2 of a mile off the A27 Lewes to Eastbourne Road, signposted to Berwick.


Address: Ardingly Activity Centre, The Lodge, Ardingly Reservoir, West Sussex, RH17 6SQ

Directions: Situated off the B2028, Haywards Heath to Ardingly Road. Follow the signs to the reservoir.
