Southborough residents learn how to save water and money at Honnington Country Show

South East Water’s experts passed on tips to save water and money to the Honnington Country Show on Sunday 4 September.

They gave out free water saving devices, top tips, and talked about the range of skills and expertise needed to transform ground and river water into clean drinking water.

The annual event took place at Honnington Farm to raise money for the Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance.

Lee Dance, Head of Water Resources at South East Water, said: “Events like this give us the opportunity to provide simple but effective tips on how people can not only save water, but money too.

“Taking simple steps such as using a watering can in the garden instead of a hose pipe, or turning the tap off when you brush your teeth can all add up to a big difference.”
