Free water saving tips available at the Petersfield Summer Festival (1)
22 August 2017

Visitors to the Petersfield Summer Festival event on Sunday 27 August will have the chance to find out how to save water and money.

South East Water staff will be giving out free water saving devices and advice as well as talking about the range of skills and expertise needed to deliver water fresh to the tap.

The free annual event gives visitors access to a range of attractions as well as providing opportunities to take part in activities and meet other exhibitors.

Lee Dance, Head of Water Resources at South East Water, said: “Events like this give us the opportunity to provide simple but effective tips on how people can not only save water, but money too.

“Taking simple steps such as using a watering can in the garden instead of a hose pipe, or turning the tap off when you brush your teeth can all add up to a big difference.”

The event is taking place at The Square, Petersfield on Sunday 27 August 2017, between 10am and 4pm.
