South East Water carrying our complex repair in Lindfield
Water supplies should have returned for most customers in Lindfield and Haywards Heath and we are working hard to restore supplies for those customers who still have no water.
Some customers may experience discoloured water which is normal following an interruption to supply.
If you have discoloured water, run the tap nearest to the supply pipe which enters your house (normally in the kitchen) until the water becomes clear. If the water does not clear after 30 minutes please contact us.
We apologise for the disruption to supplies; we have had a burst on one of our large water mains which feeds Haywards Heath, and due to the location this has been a complex repair. Our staff have been on site all day, and we completed the repair early this evening.
Keysford Lane, Haywards Heath is now closed to all traffic for resurfacing works after today's burst. A diversion is in place and we would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Rest assured, we will get the road reopened as soon as this crucial work is complete.
