Hastings Funds Management Director Marissa Szczepaniak has joined the Board of South East Water as a non-executive director.
Ms Szczepaniak, who has a Batchelor of Science in finance, accounting and economics from Georgetown University, Washington, is also non-executive director at rail company Porterbrook.
South East Water’s Chairman Nick Salmon said: “We are pleased to welcome Marissa to the Board. She brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and experience which I am sure will contribute to the continued success of South East Water.”
Marissa Szczepaniak replaces Valeria Rosati, who has stood down after nine years in the role.
Thanking Valeria for her work, Nick Salmon said her service has spanned a period of immense change for South East Water.
He said: “Back in 2007, Valeria was heavily involved in the both the acquisition of South East Water and the subsequent Competition Commission process in relation to its merger with Mid Kent Water. She was a valued voice during this process and has helped shape the company’s present success.
“On behalf of South East Water, I would like to thank her for her work and dedication and wish her well for the future.”
