Skimped Hill Lane, Bracknell

Why are we doing this work?

To ensure our customers in the area continue to enjoy top quality and reliable tap water, South East Water has been carrying out a £60,000 scheme to install 270 metres of new pipeline in Skimped Hill Lane in Bracknell.

The final section involves continuing north from Skimped Hill Lane towards the Western Roundabout crossing west onto the B3408.

How can we ensure this work is done with minimum disruption?

The safety of both the public and our workforce is our top priority therefore a lane closure will be in place when we work on the Western Roundabout crossing onto the B3408.

When is the work due to start?

The final phase of the work will start on Monday 1 May and is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete.

However our contractor’s staff will work as hard as they can to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible.

Work will take place during normal office hours during the week. We will also be working on Saturdays to help speed up this work.
