We are planning a scheme to install a 4.5 kilometre strategic water main pipeline in Sandhurst and Yateley.
The new water pipeline is required to increase storage and distribution capacity of the existing network and to protect future water supply in the area.
Along Shepherd Meadows, south of Sandhurst – crossing the Blackwater Valley – running underneath the River Blackwater and the Railway – running along the southern boundary of Darby Green Meadows – along Swan Lane, Darby Green Lane and Darby Green Road before crossing the Reading Road roundabout – through playing fields east of Frogmore Community College – across fields and paddocks and through Yateley Common.
We are holding a public exhibition to allow local residents, and other interested groups and organisations, to see its proposals for the new pipeline.
We will be holding drop in sessions at the following locations:
• Sandhurst Community Hall, Yorktown Road, Sandhurst, GU47 9BJ between 12pm and 7pm on Tuesday 21 March
• Darby Green Centre, Darby Green Road, Blackwater, GU17 0DX between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday 29 March
The project team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding the planned work.
